From your very first flight with CX, you'd never want to fly on a North American carrier again!

Catering is out of this world. And asian dishes are not the primary cuisine offered though the catering is very good even for flights out of LAX!

Seating - I usually take 81A or 86A when I can put my leg up on the side lockers. Though Cathay may have those seats blocked out for their Marco Polo members only.

Seat pitch is 50". Toiletries given out are L'Occident. No other airline in the world gives that out. It's even difficult as it is finding a store in California alone!

Flight attendants from 10 asian lands serve you on the flight. They address you by name. Meals are wheeled out on a trolley just like in some airlines' First Class where you can select from a choice of dishes plus your 'condiments'.

Espresso, cappuccino and latte are offered.

The WING, Cathay's Business Class lounge in HK is simply to die for. You'd die twice if you can access the First Class lounge. Makes you never wanting to enter another AAdmirals lounge again.

Ignored? Asians don't know that word - not at least on their airlines! Flight attendants routinely ply the whole length of the cabin during the entire flight - offering to refresh your drink even if you're asleep! If you're without a blanket as you doze off, they'll put one on you!
