So the one thing that I've always disliked about the HH program is the inability to use more points to book a better room than standard. Well, now I guess you can! I was playing around, looking at the Conrad Bali and making a fantasy reservation. I picked dates in February and could get a deluxe room for 60K points per night, or a suite for 100K. Pretty cool.
I was looking to book the Paris ADT for late July 2012. No standard rooms are showing as available. However, they do have a "King Plus" available (which has the same description as a standard King room) for 105,791 points PER NIGHT, or a King Deluxe for 112,509 PER NIGHT.
Appears the the ADT has reclassified almost, if not all, their standard rooms to "Plus" rooms and charging over twice the normal points.
