Sorry but I read it the other way.

To me it's like UA saying "we'll only comp you to Premier Exec, not to 1K" - it certainly suggests there is a higher tier but you won't get it. Why even mention a tier that doesn't exist unless it does?

Unless of course BD has a status level known as plat, and they won't comp to that highest level, in which case it's not a reference to a *P level at all.
