I have flow Allegiant several times in the past, but remember a change in how they hand out boarding cards for those that don't pay for assigned seats. When my wife & I flew to Vegas, we checked in kind of late, so ended up with some of the last boarding passes, which was fine for us. Now, we are looking at booking with kids. I hate paying for extras & our kids are old enough (8 & 10) to sit by themselves if they have to. My question is do they make any attempt to get familes with kids together if we don't pay for the seats? I am thinking I will just take my chances, but would appreciate any first hand experience before we show up.
