I am bumping up this thread because I was wondering if BA still has the same policies regarding strollers/buggies.

I will be traveling alone with a lap child from ORD-LHR-STR on BA with a long layover in LHR. I am worried that if I gate check my stroller, I will not be able to get it back until STR. I will definitely need my stroller for my 6 hour layover!

In a related question, am I able to gate check both a stroller and a car seat for free? As I understand it, BA does not allow you to use a car seat even if they have empty seats on board. I am fine with that because I will bring a CARES harness in case I get to sit next to an empty seat. However, I still need to transport a car seat since I am visiting family (without kids) in Germany and need a car seat when I am there.
