Sorry if this has been asked already.

My impression is that of the 3 * Alliance carriers who have announced their participation in the 55,555 miles promo so far, Air Canada has the most attractive offer (independently of the respective programs' other advantages), based on the following criteria:
- awards on AC can be redeemed at levels similar to UA, and lower than LH (i.e. 55K miles yield better awards on AC/UA than on LH)
- AC does not require a transoceanic roundtrip as UA does
- AC did not post any restrictions on fare classes as UA did

Any comments/corrections?
