Recently stayed here for a night. A nice, lower-cost option for Asheville:

- Sort of on the edge of downtown, but close enough to walk to everything.

- Free parking; nice large lot.

- Very friendly, helpful front desk manager during the day.

- Sauna-like hallways, as previously noted.

- Room was clean and well equipped. Only problem was with the free wi-fi, which wasn't working properly because of some snafu by the 3rd party provider.

- Didn't hear a lot of noise, maybe because I was at the end of a hallway AND I'm pretty sure no one was in the adjoining room. But be aware that most of the rooms have connecting doors. IMO, there's nothing worse for noise than cutting a hole in a perfectly fine wall. This could explain why some people have noise issues with their neighbors.
