People have to realign expectations when enhancements are made, as It is undeniable that QF used to do this and now they don't, simple (a bit like anytime access, but that's another story).
This had nothing to do with status or looking after premium passengers, this was just something they used to do, and in my mind was another good reason to fly QF domestically. It WAS a brand promise, but is no longer.
Note - there is also no contract or obligation for Qantas to offer the free b*s transfer for the passenger to international either, they choose to do so as part of their service. That could be the next to go perhaps, forcing non one-world or pax not on the same PNR to pay $5 travel on the T-BUS?
QF offers free inter terminal transfers for loyalty of their own customers.
there are plenty of airports on the world that does not have free transports between terminals.
so maybe next time complain against syd airport?
