Well we all knew that the SAABs were on their way out. Many of these markets probably aren't economical with CRJs.
Interesting to think about an alternate dimension in which the Delta/Northwest merger did not occur. Would Mesaba still exist as a wholly-owned? Would many small communities still have service?
Personally I loved the SAABs. Yes they were noisy, but very reliable.
