I am in complete shock. This is devastating news to anyone who ever met Dave, one of the kindess and classiest men I have ever met and I am proud to have known. I'm honored he considered me worthy enough to share a beer with and one will certainly be hoisted in his memory.

My thoughts are with his lovely wife, his family, and his friends. The FT Community has suffered a terrible loss.
