So, I am wondering: is this true of all hotel room TV sets, or just at Hilton?
(No, I am not interested in a new career . . . )
i spoke with a maintenance guy at a marriott after trying (and failing) to get my xbox 360 to work with my in-room tv. he said that all of the marriott tvs have some sort of hardware and software differences from retail tvs that would make them unusable outside of the hotel. i'm pretty sure this is the case with most modern tvs in most hotels.
