Also, keep in mind that if he swipes his CC at check in, you must have the front desk change the method of payment to YOUR CC when you arrive. Unless the payment comes from a CC in YOUR name, you CANNOT earn points.

Point issue aside, every company I've worked for would require the folio turned in for expenses actually have the person's name on it who did stay in the room which would negate you receiving stay credit/points.
For some employees granted a per diem travel allowance regardless of actual expense, submission of itemized receipts in their name aren't always required. And for those employees who share rooms due to company policy/practice, the folio with one name on it will be rather standard.
