Actually, I mildly agree with this. Whilst it only affects truly short-haul, it makes the laughably easy qualification levels on AC a little bit more challenging. Without wanting to open the can of worms, would people here prefer a 25,000/50,000 qualification threshold?

For those who would qualify for first time P/E on segments flown in short-short haul (ie under 500 miles), apart from getting less into their bank account for the first year, this makes no difference to them (since, for example, 25 x 300m is still less than P entry level measured by miles). And after the first year, they earn the a minimum of 500 miles again.
