Sure. In so far as I am able.
1) I stay at the same hotel each week and towards the end of the promotion I link my foursquare and SPG accounts for the first time and check into the hotel via foursquare for the first time. Would I earn the 250 points for each stay inside of the promotional period or just the current one that coincided with me registering and checking-in?
250 bonus will be earned for every confirmed reservation/Foursquare check-in
after the member has linked their accounts, but it is not retroactive so they would not get credit for previous check-ins/reservations prior to linking their accounts.
2) I stay at the same hotel each week and linked my accounts at the beginning of the promotional period. Towards the end of the promotion I check into the hotel via foursquare for the first time. Would I earn the 250 points for each stay inside of the promotional period or just the current one that coincided with my check-in?
No – the guest has to check in on Foursquare for each reservation. So, unfortunately, if they forgot to check-in on Foursquare during their stay, they cannot get the bonus at a later date outside the date of their reservation.
