If you are only going to be Gold on AA, or maybe Plat, at UA you are probably better off on UA with E+ and free upgrades. The ACs overall IMO are a bit nicer than RCCs.
I certainly can't think of any compelling reasons to stick with AA unless you are closing in on Lifetime Gold.
