Remember that no matter what anyone "officially" says, the front-line blue-shirts are still allowed to declare anything "forbidden" on a whim.
We received a response from the TSA that included the same 3-1-1 guidelines that can be found on their website. We'll see if we can reach someone higher up, but I'm not optimistic.
