I third
Gaucho's recommendation. Based on
techgirl's recommendation, I spent three luxurious nights at the Laguna Nusa Dua in May. I did it on points but they upgraded me to a suite (actually a wedding suite complete with white lace draped around the room -- unfortunately, I was alone).
I checked out the Inda while I was there and, while the room I saw was OK, well, it just didn't measure up. Inda has some good restaurants, though.
I don't know how they will treat a SPG Gold but they literally fall all over PLTs. It started with a personal greeting (by name) by the GM and his Director of Rooms (or something like that) as I walked into the lobby. I must have encountered the GM a half dozen times during my stay and he always greeted me, by name, and stopped to inquire how things were going, any problems, etc. He was also there at checkout as was his Director of Rooms to wish me well and invite me back.
There is one big problem with this place. It is a fantasy. When you are there you are not in the real world. The shock of leaving and getting back to reality could be hazardous to your health.
