Staffperson1: "Yes, but people are expecting something big from us!"
Staffperson 2: "We could just keep postponing things indefinitely.."
Boss: "Tell you what, lets just wait until the first date of the promotion period and we'll throw them a bone (puffs on electronic cigarette)."
Staffperson 3: "Remember, I T department needs at least 1 month for programming"
Boss: "That's never stopped us before. OK, meeting adjourned"

Staffperson 1: Boss? There is an angry crowd outside screaming for promos. What do we do?
Boss: (Hits mute on keyboard) Refer them to the website, that will keep them busy for a while, oh and, tell IT to increase the regular shut down of the site to three times a week. That will buy us some time to come up with a promo. I'm thinking of a coffee promo, something like "Stay for coffee and get two nights free."
