that's a personal choice as any herringbone config will be sub-par for two people flying together. for a lone business traveler it's great though. that's the trade off.
i'm very new on FT but i did find a lot of posts on the AC forum regarding which seats are best for couples and the opinion seems to be quite divided. we've decided to take two window seats, one in front of the other. YMMV. maybe these pics can help you decide.
