Just finished my outbound flight on Qantas (no U, I'm a quick study), and I have to say their premium economy almost had a business class feel to it. The blankets were luxurious, the equipment is definitely newer, and the food was just a tad better, nothing to rave about. On-demand movies were actually movies I wanted to see. The premium economy cabin was small and quiet - about 6 rows. The FA managed to move me further up a few rows to get me away from the economy baby cribs. It wasn't full so I had an empty seat next to me. All in all, it was quite enjoyable except the lack of a flatbed seat.
