I've stayed there a few times recently. Very nice looking hotel, great location, decent staff, and incredibly low prices.
But yes, the beds (i.e. mattresses) are HORRIBLE! Lumpy, sagging in the middle, and generally unacceptable for any hotel regardless of brand. My most recent stay there was (unfortunately) my last as a result.
I guess you get what you pay for...
