Question Any idea why 30-40 minute wait time for US phone lines? Any alternative numbers?
I've called BAEC (800-452-1201) and the regular BA line (800-AIRWAYS) a few times and am getting messages about wait times of 30-40 minutes to make a booking. Anyone know why this would be? It's much longer than I've had to wait before, IIRC.

Also, any alternative numbers to try?

FWIW, I'm looking for WT+ fares and upgrade availability to CW. Can of course find the former online, but the latter doesn't work when I plug in the dates--I keep getting a message that the system can't provide this info now.
