How far to Grand Canyon and how long did it take.

Trying to decide if I will get up early in Scottsdale, drive to Canyon and spend night in Flagstaff or if I have to divide it up into two days.

I've done the drive and it's doable. It's about 3 1/2 - 4 hour drive to the GC from Scottsdale and then about a 1 1/2 hr drive to Flagstaff from the GC.
