I am in a similar position re a SA flight in Business FRA/JNB taken in Nov 2010, I was Ticketed as a LH PAX (code share with LH).
A mailed reply from AE stated SA have no record of me travelling on their flight!
2 calls, a FAX, and a further mailing to AE with additional evidence of travel (including an onboard duty free sales receipt!) sent in. AE advise they will recheck with SA.
