If they had to ditch the names "Presidents" and "Red Carpet", why couldn't they at least come up with something even a couple of degrees more original. Something that perhaps spins the logo or the merger into a positive. Here's a few I'll pull out of my back pocket for starters...

I would have gone with something like the United Premier Club/Lounge...I don't have a career in marketing/branding either...It's like art...I know good art when I see it, but if you ask me to do it, you get a stick figure...
