I am looking at the 'Superior Room with a View' which is just within my budget at 165 euros. I could upgrade to the Suite but am wondering whether it is worth the extra $$$ and going over my budget. I am also concerned about the noise factor as I am a light sleeper.
I would love to hear from anyone who has.stayed at this hotel recently.
Other accommodation suggestions are also welcome.
Thanks,
I have not actually stayed there but I am familiar with it and have stayed several times just down the street at the Hotel Boccaccio. You'll be fairly close to the train station (also known as Santa Maria Novella), it's a typical Florence hotel and it is nicely located just a few minutes walk from the river and the high end shopping area (Ferragamo, Gucci, etc.)...it's a good choice in my opinion.
