Wait- they had standard, upgradable suites available when I stayed at the St. Regis. They are doing a CYA and telling Starwood now that the only suites avaiable were select. This is not what they told the Platinum Desk, not what they told Jen at the Starwood Customer Complaint Desk and not what they told me. BoSox please do go and stay and witness for yourself that they won't upgrade to an available standard suite.
