I had the same experience with Lautenberg. The staffer on the line was almost openly hostile.
I made sure my comments got through, though. I didn't call Menedez' this morning, I wanted to concentrate on Lautenberg since he actually sits on the committee.
Did you see the story about the state legislators holding a press conference today to protest the screenings?? Maybe THAT will get through to Frankie.
