I'm seeing this too for an upcoming HKG trip. I took 58B and am keeping my fingers crossed on the upgrade.
GF - Do you prefer 58B over a 45C or 45H, exit row seat? Haven't scouted out the back of the United bus -- am I missing a roomy & comfortable option in the sea of E-?
Heh, I'm hoping I won't find out. I don't think that the exit rows were available on my flights. I'm basing it purely on Seatguru. Also, the three across on the 744s is pretty grim. I will update but I'm hoping that as 1K on a B fare I won't have much more info than I have now.
