None of the handful of cheap ($25) Nokia bought in Thailand (i've destroyed a few) have worked with a T-Mobile SIM card (when in NA) and my cheap ($30) Nokia bought in N America doesn't work with any of my Asia SIM cards.

That's exactly what I meant.
