Yes, it does. I see it every time on my statement when I get a ticket with an award. It states the date of the award was debited from your account (which is usually the same date the reservation is ticketed with the award) and that it is resetting the 3 year timer. Here's one for me from March:
The Award was ticketed (debited) in the "Total Miles Posted" Section:
3/23/03 P60BR-AA 1 FIRST/BUSINESS TKT -60,000 0 -60,000
3/23/03 P60BR-AA 1 FIRST/BUSINESS TKT -60,000 0 -60,000
And in the Activity section:
60000 FROM MLS DEF THRU 03/26/06 0 0 0
60000 FROM MLS DEF THRU 03/26/06 0 0 0
In my case, no other activity had taken place at the same time or immediately before or after this debit.
