We went through the domestic priority line at YYZ on Saturday and it was the usual horror. There were two women directing traffic, one with a scanner checking BP's. They were shuffling people between the lines and generally creating chaos with their behaviour. There was an exasperated AC employee there who was trying to get a late passenger through to no avail. The two that were there were simply not competent to do the job. We were number 3 and 4 in line and the woman told us we should go upstairs as it would be faster. No, she wasn't kidding. We were in BRU the other day and the priority line there works quite simply: you scan your boarding pass and if the gate opens you get to go through (it didn't work for us though it should have). Still, eliminating the human factor might help at YYZ. At CPH on the other hand, the lady at the "SAS + Star Gold" line wouldn't let us and other through. She kept saying, this is the "SAS Star Alliance Gold Line". Yup, we got that!
