I just applied for and was approved for a delta amex skymiles card, but now after reading in the delta forum about how difficult it is to use the miles I am thinking about cancelling it when I get it and applying for the Citi AAdvantage gold card. To all of the delta converts, is it easier to get flights with your points on AA than on delta, also is it true that AA has signifcantly more leg room than Delta(which is enough of a reason in itself for me to switch at 6'1" and 280lbs LOL)? I haven't flown in about a year so pardon my somewhat stupid question:-) Thanks in advance.
