Walk or drive (slowly) along Atwells Avenue and try any Italian restaurant that looks good.

Also on Atwells Ave., if you're not in the mood for Italian, is Chef Ho's (Chinese, if it's not obvious from the name) at #243. Been there twice, the first with local friends who suggested it. Very good both times.

We also like Rue d'Espoir, a French bistro at 99 Hope Street. (Its name is the street name translated into French.)
