Not surprising, however I think being a bit proactive and forcing contact might be helpful. Make TSA respond to your questions.

TSA thinks American citizens are convicts.
Otherwise why would we be subject to strip searches, invasive pat downs and the rest of the humiliating process we are put through just to pay and fly on a commercial airplane?
A boycott of the airlines would resolve this problem.
