If I had been upgraded to a Gulf view room seven years in a row, without any extra cost, I'd be writing the GM to thank him, not to complain. My personal opinion is that your level of disappointment is unreasonable. But you obviously feel differently. In any case, I hope you are able to relax and enjoy your vacation.
