I stayed at the Mar Monte recently using free nights earned from the recent promotion. While the Hotel is a bit dated, it is 'Historic' (built 1930). I kinda liked the ambiance. I do have to add, since this was a free night they didn't have to upgrade my room but they did - gave me an ocean view room, extra large since the elavator extended into it partially. Breakfast was great (Crab Cakes Benedict). Would definately go back.
