So I guess that changed the rules not too long ago. They make no exception for any changes with these T&C or do I miss something?
I think (but I am really not sure) that the first flight issue comes from IATA rules and not the individual fare rules. You can change it but it will lead to a re-pricing. Which often will be zero but it can have significant effects.
