Maybe I'm just not smart enough for this lark, but I just tried to do this to add my meager AMEX points to my (equally meager) SkyMiles account.
First part went quite well.
You've successfully registered to earn an additional 25% mileage bonus every time you transfer Membership RewardsŪ points from American Express into miles now through June 30, 2010. Remember, there's no limit to the amount of points you may transfer.
Second part? Not so well.
The ability to transfer points to a frequent flier or frequent guest program is not available in the Membership Rewards Express(R) program.
