I just got off the phone with the 1K line booking award travel to SE Asia for about 4 weeks out from today.
I am flying to Chiang Rai, Thailand via BKK, and was successfully able to book the TG NON-STOP LAX-BKK in C Class both ways. While I understand that Thailand may not be the most desirable location as of late, what was surprising is that I was able to book EXACTLY what showed up on the ANA Website for award travel. And historically, UA has blocked the TG non-stop. So to be able to score tickets for the dates I wanted and in business seems like a real coup.
Could it be that UA is relaxing StarNet Blocking, as Johnny P notes above?

Is it possible they are relaxing StarNet Blocking?
