Effective today, for both F9 and YX:
(1) Free seat assignment for all fare types
(2) Reduced same-day confirmed change fee (drops frmo $100 to $50)
(3) Elimination of $25 fee for tickets purchased via call center or ticket counter
(4) Free same-day access to Best Care Club for Classic Plus fares

I'm pleased to say that RSVP's (and newsmanhoss's?) interpretation of what was announced at the E190 unveiling was right. Free advanced seating.
These do a couple of things in my mind:
(a) They throw a bone to business travelers with better change fees and free advance seat assignment. And they avoid penalizing people who cannot book at frontierairlines.com and as such have no way to get at advance seat assignment.
(b) They give them some additional differentiation with two big competitors (WN and FL).
(c) They avoid ticking off the YX customer base by not adding a fee at merger for something basic which has always been free.
(d) They make the Classic Plus fare more about paying to get something extra and less about paying to get something which used to be free.
