Yes the current TATL offer is ex-US only.
BristolTraveller I'm with you on having a non-LH return option... not sure I'd be up for doing the BRS route back, but could be tempted to still do CO straight back to the UK (so probably EWR-LHR).
Or even better get an option to fly back via LAX and take NZ LAX-LHR
