Has this policy just started due to cast from the Pirates of the Caribbean that will be staying at the St Regis now/shortly?
A lot of places are doing that now because of bloggers annoying people with photo taking. When we were there in December I took pictures all the time. I am one of those annoying bloggers but not so annoying because I try to be discrete and not take photos of people or if I do I ask them if they mind first.
