I was wondering how many members of the FT community charter private aircraft. Am I the only one?
It is still not quite viable for the single traveller like me, but if your organization needs to send several people somewhere regularly, chartering aircraft becomes more cost effective.
Corporations can also hammer out block charters on a monthy contract, making an ac available to a group of people at anytime for a flat monthly rate. This is especially good for multi-nationals and entertainment companies.
