I understand you viewpoint and you have a very tiny chance to talk your way into the nose.
You do not state which airline ticketed you. But you must understand that your ticket is issued in Biz on that segment. You did not "pay" (with miles or cash) for First on that segment. And the airline issuing the ticket is only charged by CX for a Biz fare (there is an internal pricing among airlines, even for awards). Even on paid RTW F tickets (AONE), the booking shows as a biz ticket for that segment.

That being said, you will be lucky if you get the 74A on that regional segment, rather than a regional aircraft with poor biz seats. For a 4hrs flight, the 74A Biz seat offer privacy, a great AVOD system (similar to the nose) with huge screen, the possibility to nap on a flat bed, and same food and service as in the nose.
I have done the route many times and I hope for you that they do not substitute equipment at the last minute (or a couple of days before).
