I must be very lucky or others are not accurate. I've used Carmel for several years about 6 times per year mostly out and in to EWR. I always make reservations in advance. I call after retrieving my luggage and a car is there within 5 minutes. I've arranged to have them pick me up at my hotel usually between Times Square and Central Park and they are always there on time. Since sometimes they use contractors, my ride back sometimes is in a mini van instead of a sedan but that is ok with me.
