we flew VY from LHR to Sevilla, Spain (code eludes me right now) in March 2010 and despite having paid the extra for center seat blocking it was occupied on both legs - I dont know if you can complain about this or not! I just watched my iPod and "zoned out" for the 2 hour flight....
