Cost of buying EuroBonus points

We all know that SAS EuroBonus is far from being among the best frequent flier programs out there these days, but...

To buy extra SAS EuroBonus points from flysas.com it costs:

1,000 EB points - 55 EUR
2,000 EB points - 110 EUR
3,000 EB points - 165 EUR
5,000 EB points - 225 EUR
etc..

To buy extra bmi Diamond Club miles from flybmi.com it costs:

1,000 DC miles - 12 GBP (13.67 EUR)
2,000 DC miles - 24 GBP (27.34 EUR)
3,000 DC miles - 36 GBP (41.01 EUR)
5,000 DC miles - 60 GBP (68.36 EUR)
etc..

In other words bmi Diamond Club is FOUR TIMES cheaper!

And if one took advantage of the recent Lufthansa 999 EUR longhaul Biz class Easter promotion one will get 21,600 EB points for 990 EUR including all taxes and charges which works out at 1,000 EB points for 45.83 EUR - which is 9.17 EUR per 1,000 EB points cheaper than what SAS sell them at and with a "free roundtrip flight" in LH Biz (Z) class to Seoul thrown in!!!

With weekend night hotel redemptions at Radisson are 20,000 EB points (double previously) and that (besides point bargains) EuroBonus doesn't offer great redemption options or one way flight awards like Diamond Club, Miles&More, etc EB has been seriously devalued with point inflation.
