Do most F passengers follow the J & Y meal schedules (i.e. after takeoff, before landing)? I would assume these are the times when 2 FAs are available.

I don't think FAs from J can help. Usually there's only one to two on duty after the meal service. They're usually quite busy with mid-flight snack and drink requests in J.
