Who do you work for? What profession are you in? I would have thought that in this modern day world, video conferencing might have been cheaper? I mean, if your only in town for a few hours, the meetings must be very important for them to spend ALOT of money to ship you around the world constantly.
I work for myself. Iam a sales and management consultant in the auto industry. At this point in life/career I am able to choose where I work and with whom. I have worked regularly in Australia since 84. I find the people their to be a pleasure to work with,and have aquired several close friends over the last 25 years. I do take advantage of both tele/video conferencing AUS-US and US-AUS, but to be face to face talking business,discussing strategies, coming up with profitable solutions and then ending the day with a chat over a cold beer..... Life is good.
